Complete migration of our own site, from WordPress to Astro. Repositioning, custom design and native performance.

Context
Our old site ran on WordPress + Avada + WooCommerce. For a studio that sells performance and bespoke work, the gap between the pitch and the showcase had become awkward: poor Lighthouse scores, a rigid visual editor, no modern development workflow.
Our approach
- Repositioning the offer around 3 client objectives (launch, grow your presence, technical support)
- Custom dark studio design with its own visual identity (no template)
- Astro (SSG) + TailwindCSS 4 + GSAP animations
- FR/EN internationalization, technical SEO (hreflang, JSON-LD, sitemap)
- Containerized Docker + nginx deployment via Dokploy, with 301 redirects from the old URLs
Results
- Ultra-light static site, JavaScript kept to a strict minimum
- Distinctive visual identity, consistent across every page
- Versioned content, modern development workflow (Git)
- Healthy, secure and easy-to-evolve technical foundation
